Role Overview
This position carries dual ownership: the property's visibility and revenue performance across online travel agency channels, and the growth of its highest-value corporate accounts. On any given day, you might be reworking a Booking.com listing and promotional calendar in the morning, then sitting across the table from an embassy procurement officer or a multinational's travel coordinator in the afternoon. The role sits at the point where digital distribution meets relationship selling, and it directly shapes how full the property is, which rates it commands, and how much repeat corporate business it retains.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day operation of major OTA extranets, including Booking.com, covering listing content, room and rate plan setup, availability, promotional participation, and booking/order handling.
- Continuously optimise listings, photos, descriptions, and promotional placements to improve search visibility and lift conversion from browsing traffic into confirmed reservations.
- Track channel traffic, conversion rates, pickup, and pace; test pricing and promotional adjustments and roll out what demonstrably drives online bookings and revenue.
- Prospect, negotiate with, and sign high-value corporate accounts, with a deliberate focus on embassies, foreign enterprises, and international institutions.
- Service and grow those accounts after signing — handling rate agreements, group and long-stay requests, and day-to-day client follow-up so that repeat business increases year on year.
- Blend online and offline channels into coordinated sales campaigns, using OTA and direct platforms alongside direct outreach to reach the same corporate audience from multiple angles.
- Meet agreed monthly and annual sales targets across both online and corporate segments.
- Review sales statistics and performance data on a regular cycle, produce clear reporting, and adjust tactics quickly when results fall short of plan.
- Work closely with reservations, front office, and revenue colleagues so that what is sold online and contracted offline is actually delivered on property.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of combined OTA operations and sales experience within hotels or serviced apartments.
- Deep, practical knowledge of Booking.com and other major OTA platforms — including their rules, listing optimisation mechanics, promotion structures, and order management workflows.
- A demonstrated record of winning and retaining key corporate clients such as embassies and multinational companies, backed by strong negotiation skills.
- An existing network of contacts in the embassy, foreign enterprise, or international institution segment is strongly preferred.
- Solid capability in market analysis, business negotiation, and strategic planning, with the judgement to translate data into commercial action.
- A results-driven, self-starting temperament: proactive in pursuit of new business, resilient when carrying target pressure, and genuinely customer-focused in how accounts are handled.
- Comfortable communicating and negotiating in English with international clients; additional language ability is an advantage when serving embassy and foreign corporate accounts.
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent hands-on industry experience will be given full consideration.
