Sales Consultant

Role Overview

As a Sales Consultant at Micasso Tile Plaza, you will guide showroom visitors from product discovery through to project quotations, helping them choose tiles, sanitaryware and interior finishes that suit their plans and requirements. Your product advice, accurate calculations and consistent follow-up will support customers while contributing to showroom sales and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work towards monthly sales goals and pursue opportunities to exceed them.
• Welcome showroom customers, understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and design options.
• Estimate quantities from customer requirements and basic building plans, then prepare clear, accurate quotations.
• Respond to enquiries and follow up on prospective customers, open quotations and leads.
• Build professional connections with architects, interior designers, contractors and developers to develop project and referral opportunities.
• Encourage repeat purchases and referrals through attentive service and reliable communication.
• Keep the showroom presentable and aligned with the brand’s premium standards.
• Stay informed about product ranges and relevant developments in tiles, sanitaryware and interior finishes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least three years of successful retail or showroom sales experience, with evidence of meeting sales targets.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident numerical ability and close attention to detail, especially when calculating quantities and preparing quotations.
• Computer literacy, including the ability to work with POS, ERP or CRM systems.
• Professional presentation and a confident, customer-focused manner.
• A genuine interest in interior design, architecture and high-quality home finishes.
• Experience in external sales, project-based selling, or the tiles, sanitaryware, bathroom, building materials or interior finishes sectors is an advantage.
• Existing industry contacts and familiarity with reading building plans are beneficial.
