  • Manage end-to-end recruitment administration, including candidate sourcing, job adverts, interviews, offer discussions within approved limits, hiring paperwork, onboarding coordination and required screening checks.
  • Maintain recruitment records and trackers, monitor hiring activity, report on recruitment and diversity, and keep leaders informed of current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Build and maintain talent networks and candidate pipelines using appropriate platforms, professional contacts, academic institutions and other relevant sourcing channels.
  • Assess learning needs and coordinate the organization-wide learning plan, budget, training calendar, mandatory courses, external providers, evaluations and reporting.
  • Advise employees and managers on development resources, career growth and competency needs; support succession planning and the preparation of development plans for potential successors.
  • Coordinate performance management communications, training and monitoring, helping managers and staff with goal setting, feedback, coaching and appraisal processes.
  • Support recognition and staff engagement initiatives, including follow-up and reporting on employee feedback actions.
  • Work with organizational stakeholders on workforce forecasting, targeted sourcing approaches and consistent application of recruitment and people policies.
  • Coordinate upkeep and supplies for the Nairobi office and team house, and arrange visitor information, accommodation, transport, travel bookings and related support for staff and senior leaders.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in recruitment, including full-cycle hiring and candidate sourcing; experience in fragile contexts is required.
  • At least two years of professional experience; experience in both the INGO and for-profit sectors is preferred.
  • Background in employment branding, workforce planning, candidate pipeline development and recruitment in global or multicultural organizations.
