P&C Operations Training Specialist

Role Overview

This role equips P&C teams, managers, and other employees to use changing Workday capabilities and follow updated processes with confidence. You will shape each learning intervention from needs assessment through delivery and evaluation, translating change impacts and audience readiness into practical training that supports adoption across P&C transformation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver training for Workday updates, revised processes, and digital capability launches, applying the established global learning strategy and rollout methodology.
• Assess learning needs for major releases, using stakeholder impact and readiness insights to determine which groups need training, what they need to learn, and when.
• Create audience-specific learning resources, including job aids, quick-reference and process guides, facilitator materials, and e-learning content.
• Develop reusable templates and quality standards so training materials can be produced consistently across transformation initiatives.
• Lead instructor-led and virtual sessions for P&C and non-P&C audiences, adjusting examples and facilitation to suit participants’ roles and experience.
• Set up ways to evaluate learning through participant feedback, knowledge checks, completion data, and indicators of post-training adoption; use results to improve future content and delivery.
• Maintain a well-organized central library of training materials, with clear ownership and review practices to keep resources aligned with current systems and processes.
• Coordinate with the Change Management Specialist, Business Analysts, and P&C Partners on audience needs, rollout schedules, training completion, and adoption reporting; contribute findings to post-launch reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in learning and development or training, ideally involving system implementations, technology rollouts, or process change.
• Experience creating training resources, templates, or learning frameworks, and adapting materials for different roles and delivery formats.
• Confident facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual learning with varied audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication, sound organization, and the ability to manage several workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to define useful training measures, interpret evaluation results, and recommend improvements.
• Practical familiarity with Workday as a user or trainer is an advantage.
• Experience creating microlearning for adult learners and using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Moodle, or comparable platforms is beneficial.
• Instructional design education or certification is an advantage; experience in a complex, matrixed organization is preferred.
