Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandising & Stock Control Specialist to join a client in the retail and lifestyle sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing merchandising, buying, and inventory control while ensuring optimal stock levels and maximizing sell-through.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee seasonal buying strategies with a focus on stock rotation and maximizing sell-through
• Monitor sales trends, weeks of cover, and aging inventory to prevent overstock and dead stock
• Drive replenishment decisions based on real-time sales performance
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and take appropriate actions such as markdowns, transfers, or product exits
• Collaborate with brands, suppliers, and store teams to enhance sell-through and overall inventory efficiency
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory health, stock risks, and performance metrics
