Bridge the gap. Build experience.
The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) invites trainees and graduates of Maritime Transport & Logistics-related programmes at KMA-approved training institutions to apply for internships and industrial attachment with Maritime Transport Operators. The programme aligns maritime training with industry needs, builds a pipeline of competent, industry-ready professionals for Kenya’s maritime transport and logistics sector, and strengthens the link between industry and academia in support of the Blue Economy.
Programme tracks: Internship, Industrial Attachment and Academic Field Visits, with placement with Maritime Transport Operators (MTOs).
Apply through your training institution, not directly to KMA.
Deadline: Institutions must recommend eligible candidates and email their details and documents to [email protected] by Friday, 23 October 2026.
Please note: Placement is subject to available opportunities, programme requirements and the capacity of each Maritime Transport Operator. KMA does not charge any fee for this placement process.
