Junior Accountant

Salary: AED 4,000–5,000 per month

Description:

A building contracting company in Dubai is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with 1–2 years of experience who are ready to contribute to daily accounting operations and can join immediately.

The successful candidate will support financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, assist with reconciliations, and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors. Candidates with contracting industry experience and knowledge of the Tally accounting system will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and financial operations.

• Maintain company records, filing systems, and accounting documentation.

• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.

• Ensure accurate data entry and proper record keeping.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Experience in a contracting or construction company is preferred.

• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of the Tally accounting system is required.

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Degree in Accounting or Part Qualified ACCA or CA.

• Immediate availability to join is required.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Tally Accounting System.

• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping.

• Microsoft Excel, bank reconciliations, and financial record management.
