Best Option Trading is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who are eager to build their careers in a fast-paced trading environment while gaining valuable experience across daily financial operations.
The selected candidate will support the finance department by maintaining accurate accounting records, managing payables and receivables, assisting with VAT-related tasks, and ensuring financial transactions are processed efficiently. Candidates with UAE accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting software will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Manage invoices, receipts, payments, purchase records, and sales documentation.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Assist with supplier payments and account reconciliations.
• Support UAE VAT calculations and preparation of VAT returns.
• Maintain organized accounting records and financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and basic financial reporting.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on financial matters.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, ERP, or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Previous experience in trading or general trading companies is preferred.
• Inventory and stock accounting experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with payroll/WPS processes is a plus.
• Experience preparing quotations, invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and payment vouchers is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• UAE VAT regulations and financial record keeping.
• Microsoft Excel, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, ERP systems, and accounting documentation.
