Minimum Requirements (Likely)

Applicants should:

  • Hold relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Forestry, Marine Science, GIS, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or related fields).

  • Have prior experience in carbon markets, biomass inventory, GIS mapping, marine ecosystems, socio‑economic assessments, or community engagement depending on the role.

  • Be familiar with carbon accounting methodologies, blue carbon frameworks, safeguards policies, and stakeholder facilitation.

Role‑specific expectations:

  • Forest Biomass / Inventory Specialist: Conduct biomass assessments, manage terrestrial carbon data, and support reporting.

  • Site Technical Leads – Terrestrial Carbon Inventory: Oversee field operations, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate technical teams.

  • Marine Site Lead – Blue Carbon: Lead marine ecosystem carbon projects, manage coastal data, and support conservation.

  • GIS / Data Officers: Handle spatial data, mapping, and digital carbon inventory systems.

  • Ocean‑Data Officers: Collect and analyze oceanographic data for carbon projects.

  • Socio‑Economic & Safeguards Officers: Assess community impacts, ensure compliance with safeguards, and promote equitable participation.

  • Community Liaison / Facilitators: Engage local communities, build awareness, and foster collaboration in carbon initiatives.
