Job Description

Role Overview

The Techno-Functional Analyst supports the Oracle Fusion SCM environment and related applications used by global supply chain teams. The role connects business needs with system capabilities: investigating issues, shaping and delivering approved improvements, and helping ensure supply chain data and processes remain dependable across procurement, supplier management, purchasing, inventory, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with supply chain, procurement, finance, operations, IT, and service providers to understand requirements, map workflows, and document functional specifications and expected outcomes.
  • Provide functional and technical support for assigned Oracle Fusion SCM modules and related applications; investigate production issues, identify root causes, coordinate resolution, and escalate complex problems through established channels.
  • Assess system capabilities and process gaps, recommend practical and scalable improvements, and help prioritize operational support requests and enhancements.
  • Support the design, configuration, testing, and rollout of approved system changes, reports, integrations, workflows, and other capabilities, following architecture, security, governance, and change-control standards.
  • Coordinate functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing by preparing scenarios, recording results, tracking defects, and supporting production validation.
  • Help maintain system and data integrity through configuration and reference-data upkeep, data-quality reviews, migration and conversion validation, and monitoring of interfaces and scheduled processes.
  • Contribute to release readiness and post-deployment support, including documentation, user communications, deployment assistance, and follow-up on emerging issues.
  • Prepare user guidance and training, answer functional questions, and use support trends and user feedback to recommend ways to improve adoption and service quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • At least six years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP, supply chain, procurement, finance, or operations platforms.
  • Experience in business analysis and solution design, as well as system testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
  • Experience participating in at least one full-lifecycle ERP implementation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to translate operational needs into clear requirements and workable system solutions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work independently and collaborate across global business and technology teams.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, governance, data quality, and integration considerations.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM experience is preferred. Experience with integration technologies, data migration, relevant certifications or a master’s degree, and mentoring analysts or leading cross-functional initiatives are also preferred.
