Role Overview

Teach high school chemistry in an American Curriculum setting, guiding students through core concepts with lessons that combine explanation, investigation, and practical activities. You will help learners build scientific understanding and confidence while tracking their progress and maintaining a focused classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach chemistry lessons suited to high school students and aligned with the American Curriculum.
• Design classroom activities and assessments that develop scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Use demonstrations and laboratory work to connect chemistry concepts with practical investigation.
• Assess student learning, monitor progress, and give clear feedback on areas for improvement.
• Maintain an orderly, supportive classroom that encourages participation and effective learning.
• Work with teaching colleagues and school leaders to support students’ academic development.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related subject.
• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching high school chemistry; experience with the American Curriculum is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of high school chemistry and laboratory practices.
• Ability to plan lessons, assess student progress, and manage a classroom effectively.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging, inquiry-based instruction.
• Availability to join immediately is preferred.
