Role Overview
Medeor is seeking Healthcare Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants to help patients with everyday care and support the clinical team in Dubai. The role contributes to safe, respectful care by responding to patients’ needs, following established procedures, and helping maintain a comfortable care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with routine daily care and other support needs within the scope of the role.
- Work alongside healthcare professionals to support the delivery of patient care.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Record relevant patient information accurately and follow applicable documentation procedures.
- Help keep patient areas clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Apply infection-control and healthcare safety practices during patient support activities.
- Follow the organisation’s patient-care procedures and policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A relevant Healthcare Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage; no specific number of years is stated.
- Knowledge of patient assistance, healthcare support procedures, infection control, and safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach and the ability to work effectively with a healthcare team.
