Description:
Al Ittihad National Private School – Shakhbout is inviting applications for the position of Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher (English, Math & Science) to join its Elementary team on a maternity cover basis with immediate joining.
The school is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive classroom environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of young learners. Candidates with strong communication skills and familiarity with UAE school systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in English, Mathematics, and Science for Grade 2 students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to school activities as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant elementary teaching experience.
• IELTS score of 7.0 is mandatory.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of UAE school systems will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Elementary curriculum planning and lesson delivery.
• Student assessment and classroom management.
• English, Mathematics, and Science instruction
