iFleet is looking for a skilled GPS Technician to join its team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience in GPS tracking and telematics installation, including hardware troubleshooting, vehicle wiring, maintenance, and system calibration.
This role is suitable for a technically skilled professional who can install and maintain GPS tracking devices while ensuring reliable performance and quality service. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering smarter fleet management solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and test GPS tracking and telematics devices on vehicles and assets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, wiring, and connectivity issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration checks to ensure system performance.
• Prepare installation reports, service records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all technical work follows safety standards and company procedures.
• Support customers with GPS and telematics-related technical requirements.
• Conduct inspections and ensure proper functioning of installed systems.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in GPS tracking and telematics installation.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, wiring, maintenance, and calibration.
• Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and GPS technology.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
