Primary Mandate

We are seeking a high-integrity Finance Manager to serve as the strategic custodian of our financial health. Your objective is to oversee the entire accounting lifecycle—from robust internal controls and tax compliance to high-level forecasting and cash flow management. You will act as a key advisor to management, ensuring that every financial decision is backed by accurate data, rigorous risk assessment, and a clear path toward increased profitability.

Core Workstreams

Financial Stewardship & Strategic Reporting

• Architect monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with absolute precision.

• Interpret complex financial data to provide actionable recommendations on revenue growth and cost-saving measures.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts to guide long-term planning.

• Monitor liquidity and cash flow trends to ensure the business remains financially resilient.

Governance & Operational Oversight

• Supervise all ledger activities, including payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy across the board.

• Enforce strict internal controls and accounting standards to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors to ensure seamless compliance.

• Work alongside the Sales and Operations teams to audit pricing strategies and operational efficiencies.

Leadership & Technical Growth

• Manage and mentor the finance department, fostering a culture of accountability and professional excellence.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs for the accounting staff.

• Streamline financial workflows between departments to ensure a unified approach to fiscal targets.

• Ensure the organization remains fully compliant with evolving Kenyan tax laws and statutory requirements.

Expertise Profile

The Essentials

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.

• Certification: CPA-K (Certified Public Accountant – Kenya) is a mandatory requirement.

• Domain Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years in a finance role with clear evidence of management or leadership experience.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of advanced accounting software and financial modeling.
