This position bridges high-level financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with rigorous statutory accounting; you will supervise everything from daily cash liquidity optimization and multi-currency ledger management to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems automation and complex tax health audits. The role requires an analytical, ICPAK-aligned leader who can comfortably convert complex financial data into predictive market strategies that safeguard profitability.

- Deliver high-level financial intelligence and predictive modeling to executive leadership to guide long-term commercial investment decisions.
- Track operational capital metrics continuously, establishing fast remediation plans when business channels deviate from approved spending caps.
- Evaluate unit product costing structures, pricing sensitivities, and supply chain logistics to maximize net profit yields.
Financial Controls & Statutory Auditing
- Build, deploy, and refine rigorous internal control frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to protect corporate assets.
- Drive complete alignment with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws, and emerging commercial statutes.
- Manage the successful execution of all internal and external institutional financial audits, resolving technical inquiries swiftly.
- Anchor risk management protocols, identifying and dampening structural operational, currency exposure, or credit vulnerabilities.
Accounting Operations & Cash Liquidity Oversight
- Supervise the complete integrity of the general ledger, accounts payable aging, accounts receivable collections, and fixed asset registries.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes across all accounting sub-ledgers with absolute technical precision.
- Command daily working capital parameters, optimizing bank reconciliations, corporate lines of credit, and treasury cash liquidity.
- Steer continuous system upgrades and automation runs within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) network to boost processing efficiency.
Fiscal Compliance & Team Mentorship
- Oversee absolute compliance across all statutory obligations, verifying the pinpoint accuracy of Corporate Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and specialized levies via iTax.
- Coach, mentor, and upskill the corporate finance department, instilling a highly accountable culture focused on professional progression.
- Cultivate clear, productive strategic partnerships with commercial banks, regulatory bodies, external auditors, and key institutional vendors.
