OuterBox is seeking an experienced Email Automation Specialist to join its remote team in the United States. This role focuses on designing and optimizing sophisticated marketing automation workflows that deliver personalized customer experiences while driving measurable campaign performance.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Email Marketing Specialists, UX teams, and stakeholders to build scalable automation solutions, manage customer segmentation strategies, and continuously optimize email marketing performance using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advanced marketing automation workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Develop customer lifecycle journeys, audience segmentation, and personalized campaign experiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align automation strategies with marketing objectives.
• Monitor workflow performance and recommend improvements to maximize campaign effectiveness.
• Maintain data models, audience attributes, and dynamic content for personalized campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, data privacy standards, and industry best practices.
• Build and optimize automations using SQL, AMPscript, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
• Support additional automation and email marketing initiatives as required.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of relevant experience preferred, with demonstrated expertise in marketing automation.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) and AMPscript.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development.
• Strong understanding of email marketing metrics and campaign KPIs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in email marketing and automation.
• Experience with platforms such as Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or SharpSpring is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cross-device email compatibility, authentication protocols, and Google Analytics is preferred.
• Must be located in the United States. Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (MCE), AMPscript, and SQL.
• Email automation workflows, audience segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
• HTML, CSS, email marketing best practices, analytics, and campaign optimization
