Key Responsibilities
- Drive the vehicle classes covered by your valid licence.
- Transport passengers or other authorised occupants safely and responsibly.
- Use careful judgment on the road and follow applicable traffic requirements.
- Apply first-aid knowledge when a situation requires immediate assistance.
- Demonstrate the driving skills required to pass the practical test for Drivers Grade III.
- Maintain the conduct and suitability expected of a professional driver.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a mean grade of D plain, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- A valid driving licence, with no current endorsements, for the vehicle class or classes required for the role.
- Completion of a first-aid course lasting at least one week at St. John Ambulance, the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT), or another recognised institution.
- Successful completion of the suitability test for Drivers Grade III and the practical driving test.
- A valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Kenya Police.
