Your work directly supports the Certificate to Operate process, helping maintain safe and reliable water infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field inspections and sanitary surveys to evaluate water system conditions and identify potential health or compliance risks.
  • Collect and organise data in response to formal Requests for Information from regulatory agencies or government officials.
  • Maintain and update the Requirements Plan of Action and Milestones, tracking progress on corrective measures and compliance improvements.
  • Prepare and review technical reports that document water system performance, inspection findings, and remediation actions.
  • Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment on water system requirements and deadlines.
  • Support ongoing system testing, maintenance, and performance evaluations to sustain operational readiness.
  • Stay current with CNIC M-5090.1A guidelines and industry standards to ensure all inspection and remediation efforts remain compliant.
  • Assist in the implementation of corrective actions identified from surveys, inspections, or data reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Two to three years of hands-on experience in water system inspection, maintenance, compliance, or related technical operations.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the Certificate to Operate review process and CNIC M-5090.1A water systems management framework.
  • Proven experience performing sanitary surveys, compiling assessment data, and responding to official documentation requests such as RFIs.
  • Solid understanding of water treatment processes, utility infrastructure, and operational best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when documenting corrective actions and updating tracking systems like a Requirements POAM.
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations and industry standards for water system compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and government representatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for task tracking and report generation.
  • Valid passport with at least one year of remaining validity at time of hire, and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Ability to meet contract medical requirements and maintain fitness for deployment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold facility credentials or authorization as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work in OCONUS locations with multicultural teams is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and any necessary country visa aligned with U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
  • Certifications in drinking water treatment, distribution, or related water systems management.
  • Knowledge of Navy utility systems or previous experience supporting water infrastructure at military or government facilities.
  • Technical certifications in environmental engineering, utility maintenance, or water treatment operations.
  • Hands-on familiarity with tools and equipment used in water system inspection and maintenance.
