Role Overview

This internship places a recent graduate inside a working aviation environment, where you will support live departmental projects rather than observe from the sidelines. Day to day, you will rotate through hands-on assignments, contribute research and analysis that informs real decisions, and build the operational and commercial fluency that a career in aviation demands. The programme exists to develop emerging talent early, giving the organisation fresh perspectives while giving you a structured launchpad into the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support your assigned department on day-to-day tasks and longer-term projects, taking ownership of discrete pieces of work as your skills develop.
• Conduct research, compile data, and prepare summaries or briefings that help colleagues make informed operational or commercial decisions.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and maintaining documents, records, and reports to a professional standard.
• Collaborate with team members and staff from other functions to gather input, coordinate activities, and meet shared deadlines.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and site or operational briefings, then feed back relevant insights and action points to your supervisor.
• Identify process improvements or gaps within your area of work and present practical suggestions to the team.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation or handover summary capturing what you achieved, learned, and recommend for the future.
• Maintain accurate records of your activities and progress so the internship can be reviewed and documented effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A university degree awarded within the past four years.
• A degree in a discipline relevant to the specific internship area you are applying for.
• Additional professional qualifications or certifications are considered an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team while also managing individual tasks independently.
• Learning agility — a willingness to absorb new information quickly, ask questions, and act on feedback.
• A professional, reliable, and accountable approach to work, including punctuality and sound judgement.
