Cost Accountant – F&B

Al Ain Mills is seeking a qualified and experienced Cost Accountant to join its team in Sharjah. The role is focused on cost accounting and cost control within the F&B industry, with responsibility for providing accurate financial information and supporting effective financial decision-making.

The successful candidate will handle food costing, inventory control, stock valuation, cost reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The role requires someone who can independently assess costs, identify variances, and provide management with meaningful financial insights.

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in F&B cost accounting and a solid understanding of operational and financial controls. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with Saturday and Sunday off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost accounting and cost control activities within the F&B environment.

• Perform food costing, inventory control, and stock valuation.

• Prepare and analyse cost reports for management review.

• Support budgeting and conduct detailed variance analysis.

• Monitor profitability and identify cost-related variances and trends.

• Analyse costs and provide accurate financial insights to management.

• Support effective financial controls across F&B operations.

Requirements:

• CA, ACCA, or CMA qualification is mandatory.

• 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience in the F&B industry.

• Strong hands-on experience in cost accounting and cost control.

• Experience with food costing, inventory control, and stock valuation.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.

• Experience preparing and analysing cost reports.

• Strong understanding of F&B operations and financial controls.

• Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.

• Ability to independently analyse costs, identify variances, and provide financial insights.
