Schneider Electric is seeking a Contract Administrator to join its remote team in the United States. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in contract management, construction-related agreements, and cross-functional coordination between legal, sales, and operational teams.
The successful candidate will support contract review, administration, documentation, and compliance processes while helping manage customer agreements across the United States. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key connection between Legal teams and branch operations for contract reviews and timely execution.
• Review service and project-related contracts and submit them to the Legal Department for approval or negotiation when required.
• Act as the primary contact for contract customers and support contract administration activities.
• Assist with contract negotiations and ensure agreements follow company procedures.
• Partner with Risk Management teams to help reduce operational and contractual risks.
• Process contract exceptions through internal approval systems when required.
• Track project and contract status while coordinating follow-ups with customers, legal teams, and sales departments.
• Manage and process contract-related documents, including:
• Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Master Subcontracts
• Payment and Performance Bonds
• Bid Bonds and Bid Documents
• Bid pre-qualification packages
• Manage requests received through Smartsheet and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration or contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good follow-up and follow-through abilities.
• Effective communication skills with customers, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and successfully within a remote team environment.
• Experience reviewing and managing construction industry contracts.
• Working knowledge of construction insurance requirements.
• Ability to follow established processes and maintain compliance with company procedures.
