Role Overview
MobileHub Kenya is looking for a social media content creator who can turn everyday product moments into scroll-stopping video and live experiences. Working closely with the sales and marketing team, you will be the visible face of the brand on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, producing content that highlights mobile devices and accessories while building trust with an engaged audience. Your work will directly support the company’s online sales goals by making each product feel relatable, exciting, and worth buying.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit original video content that showcases mobile phones, tablets, and related accessories in a clear and appealing way.
- Host regular TikTok LIVE sessions where you demonstrate product features, answer viewer questions in real time, and drive immediate purchase decisions.
- Manage daily posting schedules across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, adapting content formats to suit each platform’s culture and algorithm.
- Develop short-form product reviews that focus on real-world usage, camera quality, battery life, performance, and value for money.
- Monitor trending audio, hashtags, and content challenges to stay culturally relevant while keeping the brand’s voice consistent.
- Interact with comments and direct messages to build community, address product inquiries, and convert curiosity into sales.
- Collaborate with the team to package promotions, launches, and seasonal offers into engaging campaign content.
- Track performance metrics such as views, watch time, follower growth, and live session engagement to refine future content.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook, ideally with a portfolio that demonstrates strong on-camera presence.
- Confidence in front of the camera, including the ability to speak naturally, improvise during live sessions, and hold audience attention.
- Solid understanding of current social media trends, platform algorithms, and content formats that drive engagement.
- Hands-on video production skills, including basic shooting, editing, and sound control using smartphone or editing software.
- Ability to write concise, persuasive captions and product descriptions that support conversions without sounding overly salesy.
- Comfort with real-time interaction, including handling viewer questions, objections, and ad-lib conversations during live broadcasts.
- A creative, proactive mindset that can identify fresh content angles beyond standard product shots.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain a consistent posting schedule and juggle multiple channel responsibilities.
