Role Overview
As a Beauty Product Content Creator, you’ll make short videos and photography that help customers understand how skincare and makeup products look, feel, and fit into a beauty routine. Working on-site in Westlands, Nairobi, you’ll also publish and manage social content, helping the business build audience trust and support product sales through useful, engaging demonstrations and reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit short-form videos and photos featuring product demonstrations, beauty routines, application techniques, reviews, and before-and-after results.
- Prepare each shoot by developing concepts, arranging lighting, and selecting suitable filming and editing approaches.
- Publish and schedule content on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook in line with the brand’s social media plans.
- Keep up with beauty trends, popular audio, video styles, and platform features, applying them where they suit the products and audience.
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer questions in a professional and helpful manner.
- Work with marketing and sales colleagues on content for product launches and seasonal promotions.
- Review content results, including views, watch time, shares, engagement, and conversions, and use the findings to improve future posts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong interest in beauty, skincare, makeup techniques, and cosmetics, with a sound understanding of customer preferences in the category.
- Practical ability to create polished photos and short-form videos using a phone or professional equipment.
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook content formats, creator tools, and audience engagement practices.
- Confidence presenting products on camera and communicating with energy and professionalism.
- Clear verbal communication and writing skills, including the ability to create concise hooks, captions, and product reviews.
- A portfolio, social media account, or other examples of previously published video work are an advantage.
