Role Overview
This position is responsible for driving retail health insurance sales through a network of partner bank branches. You will work closely with bank personnel and their customers to identify protection needs, recommend suitable health plans, and convert conversations into policies that support both customer wellbeing and business growth. The role is central to expanding the company's reach in the retail health market by turning everyday banking interactions into meaningful insurance opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively market and sell retail health insurance solutions to customers within partner bank branches.
- Develop and nurture productive working relationships with bank employees to encourage referrals and collaborative selling.
- Engage bank customers in needs-based conversations to identify appropriate health coverage options and explain policy features clearly.
- Generate qualified leads from branch activity and follow up consistently to move prospects through to completed sales.
- Consistently meet or exceed agreed monthly sales targets and related performance measures.
- Drive revenue growth by strengthening existing bank partnerships and identifying new opportunities within the channel.
- Keep accurate records of sales interactions, leads, and outcomes to support pipeline management and reporting.
- Maintain current knowledge of retail health insurance products, competitive offerings, and relevant compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, insurance, or another business-related discipline.
- At least two years of sales experience, including a background in insurance sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with bank staff and customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to put in consistent effort to achieve results.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and handle a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Comfortable working alongside partner bank teams and engaging customers face-to-face.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills, with a customer-focused approach.
