Bancassurance Sales Officer

Role Overview

This position sits at the intersection of insurance and banking, asking you to represent retail health insurance products to customers through partner banks. On a typical day you will work alongside bank staff, uncover customer needs, present suitable health cover options, and move conversations toward completed applications. Your work directly expands access to health protection for bank customers and strengthens the distribution partnership that drives retail health insurance growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Introduce and sell retail health insurance plans to customers within assigned partner bank locations.
• Develop trusting working relationships with bank employees so they confidently refer customers and support product conversations.
• Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate health insurance solutions.
• Generate a steady flow of qualified leads through bank interactions and follow-up.
• Meet or exceed agreed monthly sales targets and maintain consistent production.
• Manage and grow business relationships with bank partners to increase sales opportunities over time.
• Convert day-to-day conversations into sales appointments, applications, and closed policies.
• Keep accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activity.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years of sales experience, with prior insurance sales experience required.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self-driven, target-focused, and willing to put in consistent effort to achieve results.
• Comfortable working in a bank branch environment and collaborating with bank staff.
• Ability to explain insurance products clearly and guide customers through the buying process.
