Role Overview
GAO GU CONTRACTING is hiring an Accountant / Finance Officer to support the financial operations of its construction business in Dubai. The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping and reporting as well as periodic close activities, helping the team maintain reliable records and manage financial processes across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete, accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Record and review financial transactions, and assist with routine accounting operations.
- Prepare financial reports and provide information needed to monitor the company’s financial position.
- Support budgeting and financial management activities while following internal policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting queries and keep financial workflows moving.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including preparing and checking relevant records.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and record keeping.
- Confident use of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Currently based in the UAE and able to start immediately.
- Effective communication in both Chinese and English.
- UAE construction-sector experience is an advantage; Chinese nationality is preferred.
