Description:
GBC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Clerk to join its expanding finance team in Dubai Investment Park. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with financial records, maintaining accuracy, and supporting daily accounting operations in a professional environment.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting functions, including transaction recording, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions with accuracy.
• Process supplier invoices, customer receipts, and payment transactions.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare financial reports and support the finance team with daily accounting operations.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Support month-end closing procedures and audit preparations.
• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial information.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books or QuickBooks is preferred.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Microsoft Excel and financial data management.
• Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting procedures.
