Description:
Dubai Business Corporation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of clients by managing accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and assisting with tax and compliance requirements.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with solid accounting and bookkeeping experience, knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and proficiency in Zoho Accounting. The position offers the opportunity to work in a professional and fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of both clients and the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record monthly accounting transactions using accounting software.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and organize financial documents.
• Prepare customer invoices and manage accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and account balances.
• Review invoices to ensure VAT compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare quarterly VAT calculations and submit VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Handle Corporate Tax registration processes.
• Complete FTA amendment procedures.
• Prepare Corporate Tax workings and file tax returns.
• Coordinate with tax consultants for Corporate Tax filings.
• Prepare documentation required for audit procedures.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal departments as required.
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries promptly.
• Support senior accountants and management with assigned tasks.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as requested.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Zoho Accounting knowledge is required.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
