Description:
A2Z Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of its client for a full-time, on-site Accountant position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who are looking to advance their careers while working in a dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations. Experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory, while previous exposure to the food and beverage, restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality sector will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complete accounting operations from transaction recording to financial reporting.
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, management information system (MIS) reports, and other financial reports.
• Monitor inventory records and support food cost control processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using Odoo ERP.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience using Odoo ERP is mandatory.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Previous experience in the F&B, restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate availability to join is preferred.
