Retail Accountant – Consumer Electronics
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail Accountant with a strong background in the UAE’s consumer electronics sector. In this role, you will manage daily sales reconciliations, inventory accounting, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has worked with large electronics retailers such as Sharaf DG and is proficient in retail ERPs and UAE tax regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily retail sales across cash, cards, and e-commerce platforms.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock valuations, and audit shrinkage/variances.
- Handle vendor payments and credit control, coordinating with major electronics and IT suppliers.
- Monitor daily cash flow and implement strict internal financial controls to protect retail margins.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, analyzing store-wise profitability and sales performance.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail/consumer electronics accounting experience within the UAE – experience with large retailers like Sharaf DG is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in retail ERPs and POS systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
- Strong expertise in inventory reconciliation and stock-costing methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and local banking regulations.
Compensation
Pay: From AED 5,000.00 per month.
