Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in a contracting/construction company to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting entries, vouchers, and ledger postings
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly financial reports and expense statements
- Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations
- Assist with VAT filing and compliance
- Coordinate with project teams for cost tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support audits and management reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a contracting or construction company (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
Salary & Benefits:
- AED 4,000 per month
