Accountant

Al Khalidiya Group, a leading UAE organization with multiple successful subsidiaries across Aluminium, Glass, Waterproofing, Joinery, and Care Services, is looking for an Accountant to join its Joinery Division in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have strong UAE accounting experience with knowledge of general accounting, project costing, reconciliations, invoicing, VAT documentation, and financial reporting. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage accounting operations while coordinating effectively with different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and financial activities for the division.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payments, and accounting records.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Monitor project-related costs, expenses, and financial transactions.

• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and project teams regarding financial matters.

• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documents.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, cost reports, and management summaries.

• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending balances.

• Support budgeting, cost control, and project profitability analysis.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting procedures.

• Assist with audits, VAT documentation, and other finance-related requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience as an Accountant.

• Experience in Construction or Manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and expense tracking.

• Understanding of project costing and cost control is an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax accounting requirements.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Strong knowledge of:

    • General accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.

    • Project costing, expense tracking, and cost control.

    • UAE VAT compliance, ERP systems, and accounting procedures.
