Description:

A retail trading company in the UAE is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with ODOO ERP, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting.

This role is well suited for professionals who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support inventory control while ensuring compliance with company accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Perform inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory-related reporting.

• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end accounting activities.

• Maintain bookkeeping records, general ledgers, and financial documentation.

• Process accounting entries using ODOO ERP.

• Support internal financial controls and ensure data accuracy.

• Prepare reports and analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a retail trading company.

• Strong proficiency in ODOO ERP is mandatory.

• Experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and ledger management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• UAE Driving Licence will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of:

 • ODOO ERP and accounting processes.

 • Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.

 • Financial reporting, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
