Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with solid UAE accounting experience to manage the company’s daily financial operations. The successful candidate will maintain accurate accounting records, process routine transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure that all financial documentation is properly maintained.

The role also involves handling UAE VAT-related accounting activities, supporting VAT return preparation, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements. The Accountant will work with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and customers while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy across all financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expenses.

• Maintain accurate and updated accounting records along with supporting documentation.

• Prepare invoices, credit notes, debit notes, receipts, and payment records.

• Conduct bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.

• Assist with financial statements and year-end closing activities.

• Manage UAE VAT accounting, including calculations, records, documentation, and VAT return preparation.

• Ensure accounting and tax records comply with applicable UAE regulations.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and other relevant parties when required.

• Support management with budgeting, costing, financial analysis, and other accounting activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an Accountant in the UAE.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant UAE accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with VAT filing, AP/AR, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within deadlines.

• UAE accounting experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of:

• UAE VAT accounting and compliance

• Bank, customer, and supplier reconciliation

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Financial reporting and documentation

• Experience in trading or manufacturing companies will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of inventory accounting and costing is preferred.

• Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax requirements is an advantage.

• Experience working with auditors and VAT-related documentation is preferred.

• Good English communication skills.
