Description:
Aquatonale is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant (R&D – Cosmetics) to join its Research and Development team at its facility in Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone). This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in cosmetic product development and laboratory operations within the cosmetics manufacturing industry.
The successful candidate will support research and development activities by assisting with formulation trials, raw material evaluation, product testing, and maintaining laboratory records. The role requires a strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, product development processes, and laboratory best practices.
Candidates who are available to join immediately and possess hands-on experience in cosmetic manufacturing environments will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in cosmetic product formulation and development activities
• Support laboratory testing and evaluation of raw materials and finished products
• Prepare samples for research, testing, and product trials
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
• Monitor and organize laboratory materials, chemicals, and equipment
• Conduct quality checks and assist with product performance assessments
• Support research projects and new product development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and operational procedures
• Coordinate with R&D and production teams during product development stages
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lab Assistant in a cosmetics manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and ingredient handling
• Understanding of cosmetic formulations and product development processes
• Experience with laboratory testing and sample preparation
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
