A growing industrial services organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Generator Technician to join its team immediately. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in diesel generator systems and a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting generator installation projects, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical faults, and ensuring reliable generator performance across various work sites. The role requires excellent troubleshooting abilities and the capability to work effectively in demanding operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, and maintain diesel generator systems and related equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure reliable generator operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out corrective repairs.
• Conduct troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Monitor generator performance and recommend necessary maintenance actions.
• Assist with site operations and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Prepare maintenance records and document service activities accurately.
• Coordinate with technical teams to support project requirements and operational needs.
Requirements:
• Diploma or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with diesel generators.
• Strong understanding of generator installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage responsibilities at operational sites.
• Good problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
