Wujod Developments is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team in the UAE. This position is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance within the real estate or construction sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring smooth financial operations across the organization. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis.
• Oversee general ledger activities and maintain proper accounting documentation.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Previous experience in the Real Estate or Construction industry is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must be currently available in the UAE.
• Valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting functions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting and general ledger management
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Month-end closing procedures and financial controls
• ERP systems, preferably Odoo, and advanced Microsoft Excel
