Description:
Ahar Group, a growing organization in the food trading and export sector, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Dubai team. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have hands-on UAE accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial operations within a fast-paced business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting requirements. Experience within the food trading, FMCG, or export industry will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports and support management reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting obligations
• Monitor financial records and maintain proper documentation
• Utilize ERP and accounting software for transaction processing and reporting
• Support audits and financial reviews when required
Requirements:
• UAE accounting experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance and financial reporting
• Experience using ERP systems and accounting software
• Experience managing accounts payable and receivable functions
• Ability to perform reconciliations and financial analysis
• Experience within food trading, FMCG, or export sectors preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
