Description:
A Semi-Government Holding Company in the UAE is seeking two Group Consolidation Accountants to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for newly qualified accountants as well as professionals with experience in group consolidations or audit engagements involving holding companies.
The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting group reporting activities, intercompany accounting processes, and financial consolidation functions. The organization offers a professional work environment along with excellent long-term career growth and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support group consolidation and financial reporting activities across multiple entities.
• Perform intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information across group companies.
• Coordinate with finance teams to gather and validate reporting data.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
• Assist in identifying and resolving intercompany differences and reporting issues.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
• Newly qualified accountants are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in group consolidations is preferred.
• Audit experience involving holding companies will be considered an advantage.
• Maximum 5–6 years of professional experience preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Group consolidation and intercompany accounting
• Financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Audit procedures and holding company structure
