Description:
A growing manufacturing organization in Dubai is seeking a skilled PLC & Automation Engineer to join its technical team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in industrial automation systems and a passion for improving production efficiency through advanced technology.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting automation systems, programming PLCs, troubleshooting equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a modern, technology-driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain PLC programming and automation systems
• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of industrial equipment
• Carry out automation system maintenance and optimization activities
• Support machine upgrades and automation improvement projects
• Conduct breakdown analysis and implement preventive maintenance plans
• Work on HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networking systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation (Food/FMCG industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider PLC systems
• Experience with HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networking
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of:
• PLC programming and automation systems
• Industrial control systems and instrumentation
• Preventive maintenance practices
• Industrial communication protocols and networking
