Description:
A growing organization in the MEP contracting sector is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team in the UAE. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong corporate accounting expertise and experience managing financial operations within project-based environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounting activities, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily corporate accounting and general ledger activities
• Track expenses, material costs, and MEP project-related financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budget statements
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions
• Manage vendor accounts payable and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
• Support financial planning and reporting activities
Requirements:
• 4–6 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within the MEP contracting industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities efficiently
• Experience working with project accounting systems and financial reporting processes
• Strong knowledge of:
• Project accounting software
• Microsoft Excel
• General ledger accounting
• Tax compliance and financial reporting
• Document management systems
