The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET), formerly Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC), is a government institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). It was established with the primary objective of training technically skilled personnel for teaching in technical institutions and employment in various sectors of the economy. in 2022, the mandate of the college was expanded and enhanced to: provide, directly or in collaboration with other institutions of higher learning, training for trainers; participate in technological development and innovation in economic, social, cultural, scientific and technological disciplines contribute to the industrial and technological development of Kenya in collaboration with industry and other organizations through the transfer of technology. undertake research and community service. provide a multi-level system of post-training programmes relevant to the needs of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training sector, covering a wide range of fields with provision for recognition of prior learning and flexibility of transition between programmes conduct examinations and grant such academic awards as provided for under this Order; and collaborate with recognized universities to offer programmes leading to the award of an undergraduate degree in technical and vocational education and training.
