Job Overview:
A company along Mombasa Road is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to oversee IT infrastructure, networks, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity while ensuring high system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

ICT Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure

• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software

• Ensure system performance, availability, and security across all IT systems

• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues affecting LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity

• Manage physical and virtual data centers to ensure high uptime

• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions

Network and Communications Systems

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN networks across branches

• Manage internet connectivity and redundancy solutions

• Administer communication systems including PABX, IP phones, and video conferencing tools

• Support messaging platforms including chatbot integrations

• Ensure secure remote access through VPN and related technologies

Systems Administration

• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and access controls

• Maintain email systems, authentication, and directory services

• Oversee system updates, patches, and upgrades

• Implement and monitor IT security protocols

Enterprise Systems Implementation

• Lead deployment and integration of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, MES, and e-commerce platforms

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during system implementation

• Ensure seamless integration of business systems with IT infrastructure

IT Support & Service Management

• Provide leadership to the ICT support team

• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and user requests

• Implement IT service management processes and helpdesk systems

• Train staff on ICT tools and systems

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Enforce IT security policies and procedures

• Monitor systems for threats and vulnerabilities

• Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and access control systems

• Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments

IT Strategy & Planning

• Contribute to ICT strategy aligned with business goals

• Plan and manage ICT budgets and procurement

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and system improvements

• Ensure compliance with IT governance and regulatory standards

Vendor & Asset Management

• Manage relationships with ICT vendors and service providers

• Oversee procurement of IT equipment and services

• Maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses

• Ensure vendors meet agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• Master’s Degree in IT or related discipline is an added advantage

• Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT management in a corporate environment

• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and network systems

• Hands-on experience with ERP and enterprise system implementation

• Experience managing ICT operations across multiple branches is highly desirable
