Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Loan Origination & Sales
- Actively generate new business through field sales, referrals, and market activations
- Guide customers through the loan application process
- Conduct due diligence and ensure accurate documentation
- Train clients in line with 4G Capital’s educational mission
- Achieve monthly disbursement and active client targets
- Relationship Management
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers
- Offer advisory support—our clients refer to us as “Mwalimu” because we teach, guide, and empower
- Maintain constant communication and promptly resolve customer issues
- Develop partnerships with community influencers and referral sources
- Credit & Risk Management
- Follow all credit policies and due diligence standards
- Assess client risk and verify customer information
- Monitor portfolio performance and escalate risks early
- Market Knowledge & Reporting
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs
- Provide regular field insights to branch and regional leadership
Qualifications
- Diploma, certificate, or bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proven sales experience, preferably in financial services
- Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Understanding of lending products, credit processes, and risk assessment
- Willingness to work outside Nairobi and relocate immediately is required
- Ability to communicate effectively in local languages is a strong advantage
