Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present main meals, snacks, baked items, and desserts according to menu specifications and section standards.
- Independently bake, roast, broil, steam, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables, and other food items.
- Prepare raw ingredients including washing, peeling, cutting, trimming, and portioning meats, fruits, and vegetables.
- Ensure all food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils meet hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Follow all food safety procedures, HACCP guidelines, and company hygiene policies.
- Ensure correct use of protective clothing and kitchen uniform at all times. Support menu execution during high-volume service periods.
- Implement required corrective actions and maintain documentation where needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior kitchen management.
Experience:
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or similar qualification, or prior relevant experience
- 2-3 Years working experience in the kitchen
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow standard recipes and portion control
