DAR is currently seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to lead and oversee the complete design process across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring high design quality, full technical compliance, and seamless coordination between internal teams and external consultants, authorities, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall design process from initial concept stages through detailed design development and authority approvals
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to deliver fully integrated and coordinated design solutions
• Review design submissions and deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements
• Plan and control design schedules, resources, and deliverables in alignment with approved project timelines
• Chair and lead design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and multidisciplinary workshops
• Proactively identify potential design risks and resolve technical or coordination challenges
• Provide ongoing design support to project teams during tendering and construction stages, addressing design-related queries and issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering
• 8 to 15 years of solid experience in design management within architectural or multidisciplinary consultancy environments
• Strong knowledge of UAE design standards, Dubai Building Code, and authority approval procedures
• Proven track record in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
