Astron Group is currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused HSE Officer to support and oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across active projects in Abu Dhabi. This role is suited for an experienced professional who is passionate about workplace safety and capable of ensuring full adherence to UAE HSE regulations and international standards.

The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining safe working environments, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across project sites, particularly within hydrocarbon, EPC, or industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety assessments to ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans
• Organize and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training programs
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare reports for management review
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented
• Actively promote a proactive safety culture among employees, contractors, and site teams

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification is highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HSE roles within hydrocarbon, EPC, or industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of HSE laws, regulations, audits, risk assessments, and incident management processes
• UAE driving license is an added advantage
