Hiring | MEP Estimation Engineer | UAE
Eire Gulf Interiors is currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Estimation Engineer to support project delivery through accurate estimation, technical coordination, and cost analysis across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role plays a key part in tender preparation, project planning, and execution within the interior design and fit-out sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to define the scope and quantities of MEP works
• Prepare detailed estimates covering material quantities, manpower, equipment, and related costs using industry software and current market rates
• Provide technical and commercial inputs for tender submissions in line with client and project requirements
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, engineers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to align project objectives
• Source, review, and evaluate quotations from MEP subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring clearly defined scopes of work
• Maintain updated cost databases, estimation records, and detailed cost breakdowns
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate budgets for construction activities
• Review and evaluate variations, additions, and cost impacts based on site requirements
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, site teams, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct site visits when required
• Support monitoring of construction progress and assist with MEP coordination during project execution
• Stay informed about safety standards, new technologies, and industry best practices
• Handle multiple assignments efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid technical understanding
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 4–6 years of experience in MEP engineering or estimation, with at least 4 years in the UAE
• Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Proven experience in MEP estimation and project coordination
