Job Description

We are seeking a senior Head of Marketing & Communications to lead growth, brand, and reputation for a leading regional security and technology company operating across East Africa.

This role is for a commercially minded, execution-focused leader who can translate strategy into revenue, protect reputation in high-risk environments, and position the company as a trusted, tech-enabled partner to governments, NGOs, and enterprises.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead marketing and communications strategy aligned to business growth targets.
  • Drive demand generation and pipeline support in partnership with Sales.
  • Own the company’s brand, narrative, and market positioning.
  • Lead digital marketing, performance tracking, and analytics.
  • Manage security communications and crisis readiness.
  • Design and deliver high-impact events, briefings, and thought leadership.
  • Support regional teams with scalable marketing playbooks.
  • Build and lead a disciplined, high-performing marketing team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Senior marketing and communications leadership experience (B2B, services, or regulated sectors).
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting revenue growth.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Experience in crisis communications or high-pressure environments.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, CRM, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to operate across multiple countries and cultures.
